I'm Vikas — a photographer and filmmaker based in Lucknow, working worldwide. I came to the camera late, after a decade as a cinematographer's assistant on feature sets. The cinema taught me everything: patience, framing, the way a single frame of light can carry a sentence of meaning.

My work moves between wedding stories, portraiture, brand films, and long-form assignments. Whatever the form, I'm after the same thing — the moment that feels both specific and universal. The image you can't quite look away from.

I shoot primarily on Leica and Hasselblad, with film for personal work. I travel light, work quietly, and deliver images that I hope will outlast the algorithms they were made for.
